Give Thanks, Always

Take a moment to write down some things in your life for which you are humbly grateful. Maybe put your head back, play a worship song and sing it back to the Lord for His great goodness to you.

Open your hands, consider your God and God's promises, and then hold them close to your heart. If you've lost sight of God's majesty, it is a good time to humble yourself before Him.

Maybe today take time to write out a prayer that could express your love and appreciation for having access to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. King David wrote, put many prayers and would sing them.

Even though scripture tells us not to be surprised when hardship comes our way, do you find yourself surprised? To the extent that we suffer hardship as we follow Christ, will we relish our victories? Think about a victory you would have missed out on had you not gone through a stormy battle.

Remember we can be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.

1 Corinthians 15:57... give thanks, be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding.

Now, therefore, stand and see the great thing which the Lord will do before your eyes. 1 Samuel 12:16
